Preliminary Analysis Only

FacadeMatrix is a preliminary concept-design screening tool. All outputs — including wind loads, glass thickness recommendations, zone pressures, anchor loads, and any other calculated values — are for preliminary engineering assessment only. They do not constitute final design, code compliance verification, or construction-ready documentation.

Engineer Verification Required

All FacadeMatrix outputs must be independently verified by a qualified structural or façade engineer before being used for:

  • Design development or detailed engineering
  • Procurement or fabrication
  • Construction or installation
  • Regulatory submission or permit application
  • Any other purpose where engineering certainty is required

No Warranty

FacadeMatrix is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied. The developers and contributors make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of the outputs. Users assume all risk associated with the use of this tool.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the developers, contributors, or operators of FacadeMatrix be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this tool, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Code Compliance

FacadeMatrix references multiple building codes and standards including IS 875 (Part 3):2015, ASCE 7-16, ECBC 2017, NBC 2016, and others. These references are provided for user convenience. Users must consult the current applicable version of the relevant code for their jurisdiction and independently verify all calculations and assumptions.
